Professional Experience:

Founding Principal CDH Energy Corp. Principal investigator on various field monitoring / technology demonstration projects involving advanced cooling and dehumidification technologies, desiccants, supermarket refrigeration systems, geothermal heat pumps, air-source heat pump systems, and thermal storage systems. Principal investigator on various projects using detailed hourly simulation models to assess and compare new ventilation and dehumidification technologies in supermarkets, commercial buildings, and residences. Extensive experience with advanced building simulation techniques and computer modeling. Directed assessments of various utility DSM programs for residential and commercial applications. Principal investigator in laboratory and field programs involving air conditioning performance in humid climates, applications of variable speed air conditioners, heat pipes and other emerging technologies. Product development engineer responsible for developing, designing and testing a new line of commercial air conditioners.
