Professional Experience:

  • Conducted extensive building energy audits resulting in the application of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) including lighting and HVAC equipment upgrades, and energy saving HVAC control modifications. Energy audits typically include a combination of utility bill analysis, building models, and short-term field monitoring to maximize the accuracy of the ECM savings predictions.
  • Performed field monitoring and performance studies on commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment, including natural gas driven compressors, and ground source heat pumps.
  • Performed field monitoring and performance studies on commercial window tint systems in high-rise building in New York City.
  • Performed HVAC Building Commissioning for large-scale academic buildings.
  • Provided whole building energy simulations using DOE2/eQuest/Energy 10 building simulation software for use in evaluating building component upgrade.
  • Energy consultant for Home Headquarters (HHQ) in the new construction and retrofitting of low cost urban homes to provide cost effective energy efficiency measures through onsite measurements, building models, and short term field monitoring.
